Structure of Education in Nepal
Education in Nepal is structured as school education and higher education. School education includes three types of education level primary, lower secondary and secondary level respectively. Primary level includes 1-5 grades, lower secondary 6-8 and secondary 9-10 grades respectively. In certain areas pre-primary level is also available. For admission into grade one, six years of age is the prescribed age. A national level School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Examination is conducted at the end of grade ten. As higher secondary level, grades 11 and 12 are considered. Higher secondary schools which are mostly under private management supervised by Higher Secondary Education Board(HSEB). Previously these grades were under the university system and these were run as proficiency certificate level. The policy now is to integrate these grades into the school system ,though some universities still offer these programs.

Higher education includes of bachelor, masters and PhD levels. Bachelors level may be of three to five year's duration depending upon the stream and subject. Generally the duration of masters level is of two years. Some universities also offer programs like M Phil and post-graduate diploma.

Legally, there are two types of school in the country: community and institutional. Community schools receive regular government grant whereas institutional schools are funded by school's own or other non-governmental sources. Institutional schools are organized either as a non-profit trust or as a company. However, in practical terms, schools are mainly of two types: public (community) and private (institutional). A third type of school is the schools run by the local people enthusiastic towards having a school in their localities. They do not receive regular government grants and most of them do not have any other sustainable financial source. Supported and managed by the local people, they can be thus identified as the real community schools.

Except one, all universities/academies are publicly managed and are supported by public source fund. However, public universities also provide affiliation to private colleges. Two academies of higher education are single college institutes whereas other universities have constituent and affiliated colleges across the country.

Modern education in Nepal began with the establishment of the first school in 1853.In previous day, when Nepal is ruling by autocratic Rana family, educational condition in Nepal is so poor. All Nepalese are uneducated. They couldn't read and go to school because of the autocratic Rana family regime. They didn't give permission to go to school to all Nepalese people.
The first school established in 1853. School established but it was not for general people it was only for the member of the ruling families and their relatives. Only after 1951, the schooling for general people began when a popular people movement ended the autocratic Rana family regime and established a democratic system. There has been a dramatic expansion of educational facilities in the country in the past fifty years. As a result, adult literacy (15+) of the country was reported to be 48.2% (female: 34.6%, male: 62.2%) in the Population Census, 2001, up from about 5% in 1952/54. Beginning from about 300 schools and two colleges with about ten thousand students in 1951, there now are 26 thousand schools (including higher secondary), 415 colleges, five universities and two academies of higher studies. Altogether 5.5 million students are enrolled in those schools and colleges who are served by more than 150 thousand teachers.

There are many challenges and problems despite such examples of success. Some of the critical issues of education in Nepal are access, relevance, educational management, quality etc. Societal disparities based on ethnicity, gender, location, economic class, etc. are yet to be eliminated. A problem resource crunch has always been in education. These problems have made the destination of education for all a challenge for the country. So educational condition in Nepal is satisfiable than the passed year.

Importance of Education

Education is most important for all human beings. We take education as like as shelter and food. Without education the whole world is dark. Basically education is related with one's life. Education is for the mind, while shelter is for the body and food is for health.

Education increases one's knowledge and it is saying that the knowledge is power. So without education we can't get knowledge. However, the power of knowledge that a person shows will be dependent on how an individual uses it. For the profit of themselves, a person could highly choose to use power and knowledge, for others or to be simply used in the destruction of mankind. To maximum use, education is the knowledge of putting one's potentials. A man could be a right thinker by education. It teaches man how to think and how to make decision. Man could be perfect in their life by education.

We can't find education is not given importance. Education should be given importance everywhere. As education increases or go-ahead towards individual development, like this development should transform into social development.

This is to say that education is must if a country aspires to achieve economic and other growth and development and more importantly to uphold it. The importance of education cannot be neglected by any country. In today's world, the role of education has become even more vital. For the social and economic development of any country, it is an absolute need.

Insurance

Insurance is important part of our life. We can make Insurance of everything's like life insurance, car insurance, households insurance etc. or many other insurances.Insurance means guaranteeing against harm or loss.

Reimbursement is made from a fund to which many individuals exposed to the same risk have contributed certain specified amounts, called premiums.

Payment for an individual loss, divided among many, does not fall heavily upon the actual loser. The essence of the contract of insurance, called a policy, is mutuality.

The major operations of an insurance company are underwriting, the determination of which risks the insurer can take on; and rate making, the decisions regarding necessary prices for such risks.

The underwriter is responsible for guarding against adverse selection, wherein there is excessive coverage of high risk candidates in proportion to the coverage of low risk candidates. In preventing adverse selection, the underwriter must consider physical, psychological, and moral hazards in relation to applicants.

Physical hazards include those dangers which surround the individual or property, jeopardizing the well-being of the insured.

The amount of the premium is determined by the operation of the law of averages as calculated by actuaries. By investing premium payments in a wide range of revenue-producing projects, insurance companies have become major suppliers of capital, and they rank among the nation's largest institutional investors.

Education is necessary for all human beings. Generally we know without education of our life is dark. So education should be necessary for all human beings. Maximum people in the world are educated. But still now, some people, in different countries, in different parts, are uneducated. Listening this we feel sorry. So we can make education necessary for those who were uneducated still now. Education is the power tablet of uneducated people. In my opinion, we should make education necessary for all uneducated people in the world. If education isn't there the whole society of human being can't became educated. Without education all human society could make like animals. Because of the education the development became possible. Without education we can't think about development of present world. All development and revolution became possible by education.

Our knowledge skill could make good by education. Education can make our discipline character and can increase or improve our knowledge capability. Key of discipline and knowledge is education.
